How Anchor works.

Launch, trade and understand revenue-connected token markets on Solana.

Overview

Anchor is a launchpad on Solana for tokens connected to real products. Each market pairs a tradable token with a public record of the product behind it: what it is, where its revenue comes from, how that revenue is evidenced, and what — if anything — holders are entitled to.

Anchor always shows two layers side by side and never blends them:

  • Market data — market cap, SOL raised, bonding progress, trades and volume. Read directly from Solana mainnet.
  • Revenue data — figures and sources supplied by the project, each labelled by how strongly it is evidenced.
Anchor only lists markets that were launched through its own LaunchLab platform account and re-verified onchain. There are no sample, demo or simulated projects anywhere on the site.

Quick start

  1. Install a Solana wallet — Phantom, Solflare or Backpack — and fund it with a little SOL.
  2. Click Connect wallet in the header and approve the connection.
  3. Open Launch, fill in your project, optionally connect a revenue source, set your curve and review.
  4. Sign the transaction in your wallet. Anchor confirms it onchain and your coin goes live on Discover within seconds.
  5. Share your coin page: useanchor.cc/coin/<token address>.

Launching a token

The launch wizard has five stages. Only Project and Market are required; Revenue and Agreement are optional but strongly affect how your market is presented.

1. Project

  • Name — up to 32 characters. Fixed onchain after launch.
  • Ticker — 2–8 uppercase letters or digits. Fixed onchain.
  • Image — PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 2 MB. Square images look best; this becomes the token icon in wallets and explorers.
  • Description, category, website and X — shown on your coin page.

2. Revenue

Pick how the product's revenue is evidenced — an onchain wallet, a fee-generating program, Stripe, a signed reporting API or a manual statement. See Revenue verification.

3. Agreement

Optionally set the share of eligible revenue committed to holders, payout interval, payout asset and exclusions. With no agreement, holders have no revenue rights.

4. Market

Choose total supply, the share sold on the curve, the SOL raise target and an optional initial buy. The curve chart previews how price moves as tokens sell.

5. Review & sign

When you press launch, Anchor runs these steps in order and shows each one:

  1. Upload — image and metadata JSON are stored publicly. Metadata includes your coin page as the token's website.
  2. Build — the LaunchLab create transaction is built in your browser against Anchor's platform config.
  3. Simulate — the transaction is simulated on mainnet. If it would fail, you are not asked to sign.
  4. Sign — your wallet shows the transaction; nothing is sent until you approve.
  5. Confirm — Anchor waits for confirmation on Solana.
  6. Register — the server re-reads the transaction and pool account and checks the program, platform and mint before listing.

You need about 0.03 SOL for network costs plus any initial buy.

Coin pages

Every token gets a permanent public page at https://useanchor.cc/coin/<token address>. This address is written into the token's metadata as its website, so wallets, explorers and charting sites link straight back to it.

A coin page shows the live market cap, SOL raised on the curve, bonding progress, a live GeckoTerminal chart, the buy/sell panel, revenue evidence and the holder agreement.

Bonding curve & graduation

New tokens trade on a Raydium LaunchLab constant-product bonding curve, quoted in SOL. Buying moves price up the curve; selling moves it down. There is no order book — the curve itself is the counterparty.

Graduation

When SOL raised reaches the raise target, the market graduates: the curve closes and liquidity migrates to a Raydium CPMM pool. Trading continues there, and the coin page links to Raydium.

Bonding progress

Progress is SOL raised divided by the raise target, read live from the pool account.

Fees

Trading fees are set onchain by Raydium LaunchLab and Anchor's platform config and apply to every buy and sell on the curve.

Launch feeNone
Raydium protocol fee0.25%
Anchor platform fee1%
Creator fee0.5%
Network cost per launch~0.03 SOL

Example

A 1 SOL buy pays about 0.0025 SOL to Raydium, 0.01 SOL to Anchor and 0.005 SOL to the creator.

Platform fee split

Anchor's 1% platform fee is planned to be split as follows:

$ANCHOR buybacks45%
User rewards50%
Treasury5%
This split is the planned model. It is not yet enforced by an onchain program; until it is, Anchor labels it as planned everywhere it appears.

Buybacks & rewards

Buybacks use their share of platform fees to buy $ANCHOR on the open market. Each buyback will be listed with its transaction so anyone can check it.

User rewards return their share to people who use Anchor — traders and holders — on a recurring epoch. Claims happen from the Rewards page with your wallet.

$ANCHOR platform rewards are completely separate from any revenue a project distributes to its own holders, and the two are always shown separately.

Revenue verification

Every market carries one of four labels:

  • Unverified — nothing provided or checked. Every new market starts here.
  • Self-reported — the creator published figures or a signed feed without independent evidence.
  • Source connected — Anchor checked a live source directly. Proves the data is real, not that it belongs to holders.
  • Independently verified — figures checked by a party other than the creator.

Source types

Onchain revenue walletSign a message to prove control → Source connected
Fee-generating programProgram checked onchain → Source connected
StripeRead-only restricted key, used once, never stored → Source connected
Revenue APIed25519-signed reports → Self-reported
Manual statementUploaded privately for review → Self-reported

Sources are checked when you connect them and checked again by the server at launch. Client-submitted evidence is never trusted on its own.

Signed revenue reports

Projects using a revenue API post periodic reports signed with their registered key. The signed message is anchor-revenue-report:<mint>:<period>:<gross>:<currency>. Reports with an invalid signature are rejected.

Revenue agreements

A token only carries the rights written in its project's agreement: the share of eligible revenue, payout interval, payout asset and exclusions. If an agreement says nothing about distributions, holders are entitled to none.

Anchor displays agreements but does not enforce them and does not guarantee any payout.

Trading

  1. Open a coin page and choose Buy or Sell.
  2. Enter an amount (SOL for buys, tokens for sells) and pick slippage: 0.5%, 1% or 3%.
  3. Anchor fetches a quote from the live curve and simulates the trade.
  4. Confirm and sign in your wallet. The trade settles on Solana in seconds.

If price moves past your slippage before the trade lands, it fails safely and nothing is spent except the network fee. Graduated tokens trade on Raydium.

Analytics

The Analytics page totals every trade on every Anchor curve: volume, platform and creator fees, trades, unique traders and launches, with daily charts and a per-coin table. It refreshes every 30 seconds.

Volume is the SOL side of each buy and sell. Fees are calculated from the onchain fee rates applied to that volume.

Wallets & security

  • Anchor never holds your keys or funds. Every transaction is built in your browser and signed by your own wallet.
  • Every launch and trade is simulated before you are asked to sign.
  • Anchor's API keys stay on the server; your browser only talks to a limited, rate-limited relay.
  • Anchor will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is not Anchor.

Risks

  • Token prices are volatile and can go to zero.
  • Reported revenue may be wrong, stop, or never reach holders.
  • Smart contracts and networks can fail or be exploited.
  • Solana transactions are final and cannot be reversed.
  • Anyone can launch; a listing is not an endorsement.
  • Revenue-linked tokens may be regulated in your country.

Nothing on Anchor is investment, legal or tax advice. See the Terms of use.

FAQ

Can I edit my token after launch?

Name, ticker, supply and image link are fixed onchain. Description and links on the coin page can be updated by contacting Anchor.

Why isn't my market showing?

Markets appear once the transaction confirms and Anchor re-verifies it — usually within seconds. If it hasn't appeared after a few minutes, send us your transaction signature.

Why is my chart empty?

GeckoTerminal can take a few minutes to index a new pool.

Does Anchor custody funds?

No. Trades and launches are signed by your own wallet.

What happens when my coin graduates?

Liquidity moves to a Raydium pool automatically and trading continues there.

How do I earn the creator fee?

The 0.5% creator fee accrues to the wallet that launched the coin, per LaunchLab's rules.
